Rococo movements
Blue Flower is available in two different shapes: curved and braided. The Rococo shapes,
curved and braided (with basket weave), are from around 1780. Curved has the play of
movement which is typical of the Rococo. The shape curves and the flowers are arranged
asymmetrically. On Blue Flower braided or osier as it was originally called, the blue
flowers are framed by a relief border in basket weave and the lids are topped with large
tulip buds.
